This week’s Free Book Friday prize is:
My Lucky Life In and Out of Show Business
by Dick Van Dyke
A colorful, loving, richly detailed look at the decades of a multi-layered life, My Lucky Life In and Out of Show Business, will enthrall every generation of reader, from baby-boomers who recall when Rob Petrie became a household name, to all those still enchanted by Bert’s “Chim Chim Cher-ee.” This is a lively, heartwarming memoir of a performer who still thinks of himself as a “simple song-and-dance man,” but who is, in every sense of the word, a classic entertainer.

I love Dick Van Dyke – sounds like an interesting read!
Please choose me. My birthday is this week and I can think of no better gift than a free book.
Yes, please! This would be a great read!
Dick Van Dyke has always been one of my favorites, from the days of “The Dick Van Dyke Show” with Mary Tyler Moore all the way through his Murder 101 movies – which run occasionally on Hallmark—“Diagnosis Murder” is on each night after “Murder She Wrote” on Hallmark, and although it comes on at 11:00 p.m., I usually stay up to watch. I think his autobiography would be a great read and would tell the truth about his life and his (supposed) alcoholism, his life as a very physical comedian, and his move to serious drama. One of my favorites of his was “6 Rms Riv View” that he did with Carol Burnett years ago. Great show.
I’ve always loved the shows he’s been in. Now it’s time to read about him.
I ♥♥♥♥♥ Dick Van Dyke and would love to read this!!!

I grew up watching the Dick Van Dyke show and the Mary Tyler Moore show. Just loved their type of acting. Sadly, you don’t see that style any more.
