Today the free book is First 100 Soft to Touch Words
Your little one will soon learn some essential first words and pictures with this bright board book.
There are 100 color photographs to look at and talk about, and 100 simple first words to read and learn, too.
The pages are made from tough board for hours of fun reading, and the cover is softly padded for little hands to hold.
This book will make a great stocking stuffer for a little one!
We will choose two winners at random from comments we receive here on the Blog from PBS members.

I love PBS. It has helped me clear out my house from clutter and pass along good reads to others. It has also helped me find some good books to give to my kids as gifts. Never ashamed to save. Thanks.
Hmm. I’m going to be teaching English (as a foreign language) in the spring (in Japan), I bet this would good. I just requested a picture dictionary from PBS 🙂
I’d love this for my new baby niece!
I would really like to add this to my 9 month old’s library.
I love this site. My book addiction is one that has enabled my children to learn to read early and well, and allows me to recommend good books to others. This is a great way to pass on books that I am not ready to add to my library, and to find others that do belong. It is wonderful.
My Charity group is collecting new books to donate to a womens and children shelter in San Jose. This book would make a great Christmas gift for a homeless (very) young child.
Everyone else’s comments are making me feel like a terrible mom. I was thinking this would be great for my 3 year old and here they are reading to their infants! Guess I was a little slow on the uptake, lol.
Perfect for my granddaughter who will be two on New Year’s Day! She (and I) love books!
I am trying to instill the love of books on my 19 month old grand daughter. This would be a wonderful addition to her slow growing book collection.
perfect start for my beautiful Lexi :0)
This would be a wonderful Christmas gift for our dear friends new baby. Never too early to start the kiddo’s on reading! My son loves his “library” in our living room!
My little grand-niece would love this book.
My niece would love this.
My daughter had this book when she was smaller. I passed on that copy long ago, but I’d love to have it to give to my friend’s baby!
I would love to read and share this with my two year old grandson.
Ummmm, since I already know more than 100 words…I’ll leave this to someone else to win….
A perfect gift for the PaperBack Swap club members of the future.
My nieces would love this book!
A new baby is coming to our family right after Christmas. Would love to have this as a gift for the newborn!
This would be a perfect gift to start our new grandchild’s library! Our son’s first is due in April 🙂
Makes a nice Christmas gift.
What a beautiful cover!
Aww, I love the Roger Priddy photo books! I have a three-year-old, an almost-two-year-old, and a three-month-old – we would love this book for our toddler-loved library! 🙂
