That’s right, it’s our 7th birthday!
We’ve passed some great milestones in the last year including 5 million books posted, the 10 millionth book mailed and received, donating over 32,000 books to schools & 17,500 books to the military. We’ve also swapped hundreds of thousands of books and added plenty of fantastic new features to make the Club even better. We’ve added new members, made new friends, found new authors we never would have tried, played games, laughed and shared and cried with each other, and learned so much along the way. We are delighted to see how the Club has grown and evolved in the past 7 years, and look forward to many more years reading together.
It’s no secret that all of our volunteers and members are what makes PBS the wonderful community it is today. In celebration of all of you that have made the last seven years so incredible, the PBS Team is turning the tables and giving YOU the birthday gifts! We are a group of readers, so of course there’s no better present than book credits!
To enter our Happy Birthday to Us Drawing, just respond to this post and tell us how long you’ve been a member of PBS. If you aren’t sure how long you’ve been a member, you can find it in “My Profile” under “My Account”. If you haven’t chosen a nickname or made a profile yet, now would be a great time. Simply go to “My Account”, choose “Settings” and click “Set Up a Profile”. You can also see the date you joined on each forum post you write.
We will draw 7 responses at random to receive 7 credits each! The contest will end on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 7:00 pm. We will announce the 7 winners of 7 credits each on Wednesday, September 7, 2011. Do you see a pattern here?

I have been a member since 2007! I absolutely love paperbackswap.com. Not only do i love to read, but I also cant help be excited when I get a new book in the mail. It’s like Christmas all year long!

I have been a member since January 2009. PBS has provided me with books I never thought I could obtain, broadened my reading tastes and has helped me meet some wonderful friends. This is a great website and I would recommend it to anyone.

Hi,
I have been a member for two years, since August 2000. My sister told me about you, and she was so excited about the savings and getting great books that I signed on, and have been happily swapping. My daughters go on and look at books and request them, and have them sent to their dormitory, and are delightfully reading away (when they can sneak in some time between exams and papers). . It is great to see all the reviews and try out books we may not have chosen before. I have gotten books for my classroom which the kids are enjoying

I have been a member since for a year. I love this site because I had so many books nobody would take but then I found this site and it answered my prayers. Total godsend!

PBS you guys are awesome! I have been a member since 6/11/2007, in that time I have mailed out 805 books and rcvd 781, donated to schools, military and local school library through swaps. I love being able to find fellow readers who love the same kind of books as I do and sharing what books we love and some not so much 🙂 Thanks to PBS my TBR shelf is never bare and I have been able to find some books that I searched many years for. I’ve been a member since 7/07. I can’t believe I’ve mailed out 43 books! Joining this site was one of the best things I’ve ever done. I love getting mail and I love getting great books in great condition for less than $3 apiece. Happy birthday and here’s to many more!
I only found out about this a little over a month ago and love this site. I’ve been a member since 7/26/2011. I feel like a newbie here but have already sent out 20 books and received 15. Thanks for the great site. It’s nice to be able to recycle old books and get new, exciting books to read.

I’ve been a member only since 3/17/2011. I’m so glad I found out about it. It definitely feels just like it’s Christmas all year long, when I find a book in the mail from another PaperBackSwap member.

I’ve been a member for years and have told dozens of my friends (who are also avid readers) about this great site. My nephew has cleared out our bookshelves over the last few years. . . . only to replace the swapped books with more!

Happy 7th Birthday Paperback Swap! I have been a member since 3/30/2009. I had been looking for some way to do something with the books I had collected along the years and hapened upon your website and it was the answer to my prayer. Thank you and I hope you have many more birthdays!

Happy Birthday PBS! I have been a member since 5/30/11 and wow I really love it. It gives me an opportunity to be able to read books at such an affordable way. I love it and so thankful my daughter told me about the website.
Happy Birthday PBS! I joined on 12/27/2004 and have been an active member ever since! In that time I have mailed out 655 books and received 688! The people who work in my local post office have really gotten to know me since joining! I love the idea of recycling books and love it even more when one of my wish listed books becomes available! I’ve been a member since 07.25.05, so over 6 years now! What a difference those 6 years have made. Not only do I have many more books than I’ve ever had before but I’ve made some true friends of the heart here.
I login several times a day just to see what’s going on. I host and play in games and check out Club Members Thoughts, the Love & Romance forum and RAOK.
