That’s right, it’s our 7th birthday!
We’ve passed some great milestones in the last year including 5 million books posted, the 10 millionth book mailed and received, donating over 32,000 books to schools & 17,500 books to the military. We’ve also swapped hundreds of thousands of books and added plenty of fantastic new features to make the Club even better. We’ve added new members, made new friends, found new authors we never would have tried, played games, laughed and shared and cried with each other, and learned so much along the way. We are delighted to see how the Club has grown and evolved in the past 7 years, and look forward to many more years reading together.
It’s no secret that all of our volunteers and members are what makes PBS the wonderful community it is today. In celebration of all of you that have made the last seven years so incredible, the PBS Team is turning the tables and giving YOU the birthday gifts! We are a group of readers, so of course there’s no better present than book credits!
To enter our Happy Birthday to Us Drawing, just respond to this post and tell us how long you’ve been a member of PBS. If you aren’t sure how long you’ve been a member, you can find it in “My Profile” under “My Account”. If you haven’t chosen a nickname or made a profile yet, now would be a great time. Simply go to “My Account”, choose “Settings” and click “Set Up a Profile”. You can also see the date you joined on each forum post you write.
We will draw 7 responses at random to receive 7 credits each! The contest will end on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 7:00 pm. We will announce the 7 winners of 7 credits each on Wednesday, September 7, 2011. Do you see a pattern here?

Aww it’s almost my one year PBS anniversary! I’ve been a member for 11 months and love it more every day!
It’s almost a year in a few weeks, and love it.
I’ve been a member for almost 2 1/2 years now and I don’t know what I’d do without PBS!! We homeschool and I’ve been able to put together our curriculum through PBS…it sure has saved us a bundle!

I joined on 11/24/2008, but didn’t really get “into it” until this past year. I’ve been having such a wonderful time swapping – I wish I had started much sooner! 🙂

I joined 1/19/2009 and very much enjoy the opportunity to browse multiple types of books and especially like the way a short description shows when the cursor is on the book. This site has many neat features and I always enjoy visiting. Happy 7th birthday!

I’ve been a member since 10/26/2005, so going on 6 years now. And I can remember my friend telling me about the site months earlier, but I just put it off until her son started talking about it as well. I’ve seen so many changes to the site, and I really can’t imagine not having as an outlet for my reading addiction.

Ive been a member since 2/2011 and i log in every day,to check blogs,discussions anything. Im obsess about this site! im so happy i was referred here! I can get books really cheap for me n my daughters! I dont know how i manager without this site. not just getting books but talking to people in their everyday 🙂 i would loose my mind if i couldnt talk to my pbs friends!

Happy birthday, things I like most about this site is the availability to give to someone my credits that I have at the time kids for school or the military need them. It is great and if I run out of credits I can buy some books an then get more credits when people order my books. Every book I have received has been a treasure thank you for setting the site up and allowing us to exchange books. People that have given me a book for a credit thank you as I know it is something you enjoyed and now I get to enjoy reading it. Thanks to you all and happy birthday. Tom
