That’s right, it’s our 7th birthday!
We’ve passed some great milestones in the last year including 5 million books posted, the 10 millionth book mailed and received, donating over 32,000 books to schools & 17,500 books to the military. We’ve also swapped hundreds of thousands of books and added plenty of fantastic new features to make the Club even better. We’ve added new members, made new friends, found new authors we never would have tried, played games, laughed and shared and cried with each other, and learned so much along the way. We are delighted to see how the Club has grown and evolved in the past 7 years, and look forward to many more years reading together.
It’s no secret that all of our volunteers and members are what makes PBS the wonderful community it is today. In celebration of all of you that have made the last seven years so incredible, the PBS Team is turning the tables and giving YOU the birthday gifts! We are a group of readers, so of course there’s no better present than book credits!
To enter our Happy Birthday to Us Drawing, just respond to this post and tell us how long you’ve been a member of PBS. If you aren’t sure how long you’ve been a member, you can find it in “My Profile” under “My Account”. If you haven’t chosen a nickname or made a profile yet, now would be a great time. Simply go to “My Account”, choose “Settings” and click “Set Up a Profile”. You can also see the date you joined on each forum post you write.
We will draw 7 responses at random to receive 7 credits each! The contest will end on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 7:00 pm. We will announce the 7 winners of 7 credits each on Wednesday, September 7, 2011. Do you see a pattern here?

only a couple months
I have been a member since April of 2009.
I’ve been a member for 2 1/2 years & absolutely love it! I tell everyone I know. It’s a great place to obtain classics my kids have to read for school and one I even found a text book valued over $100 for free! How great is that????

I have been a member of PBS since October of 2006. I love this club!! There is nothing like receivng a book in the mail for free that you have been waiting for. I wish you a Happy Birthday and much continued sucess.
10/6/2007 was the day I signed up. I love this site. I can get almost any book I want with out paying a fortune. I have gotten hard to find books, text books and books from every genre. It is also a great place to trade books you don’t want. My daughter love it som much she can wait to be old enough to join.
Hi, I’ve been a member since Feb. 6, 2007. PBS is absolutely wonderful and has introduced me to a lot of books that I might not have read otherwise. It is also gratifying to be able to help the military and schools by donating credits.

I’ve been a member since 2008 and LOVE this site! I can get almost new books in great condition and pass on books that my family is done with. I love the wide library of books available. I tell everyone about it!

I have been a member since 4/30/09. I love this site. I get good books in great condition for our church library, the jail library and for myself! As the books become less read in the libraries, I post them on PBS. I can always use extra points since you have so many good books. Thanks for this site!

I have been a member since January 24th, 2006. I no longer have to deal with the surly book trader downtown to trade books. I can get them through bookswap. I love this website. Happy, happy birthday!
