Sharon has been a member of PBS since March 2006.  She has sent and received a lot of books here, as well as dozens of books in Box-O-Books swaps, and she has never had a problem swap.  She has contributed numerous Book Reviews to the site.  She has been praised by members for her extra effort in looking for books they might like.  As one member, Earl wrote “She is … already like a family member when we correspond.”  That is PBS spirit in a nutshell, squirrelly! (sorry, we couldn’t resist that.)

We swear, we didn’t choose her, although of course she is a natural!  We got a ton of nominations for Sherry this month.

Members cited her patient and excellent advice regarding the submission of Data Corrections, her kind and helpful posts in Forums, and her generally all-around PBS-ness.  We think she embodies the friendly, sharing spirit of PBS really well, and as the Co-Coordinator of the Data Correction Volunteer group, she has had a huge part in improving the site for everyone!  She has recently started her own PBS Local Chapter, and we expect that group will soon be hopping with fun events.

Sherry, we appreciate everything you do, and now you know that the members do too!  We don’t know how you manage to accomplish it all, but PaperBackSwap thanks you.

Steve L. (Coffee)

As many of you know, Steve is the Moderator of the USPS Postal Regulations DIscussion Forum at PBS.
He answers questions about USPS from members, with patience and kindness, every day.
He is our go-to guy when we have questions.
We appreciate your efforts more than we can say, Steve; you do so much to make the club better for everyone!

We think our new member (that70sgirl) put it best when she told us: “I just wanted to let you know what a great job Lori G. is doing here on PBS. I had posted in the CMT forum about being a little intimidated about joining the games forum, and she took it upon herself to start a Newbie game, and extend invitations to those of us who had posted. The swap has been going on now for a while, and the response has been great! She was never critical when anyone made a mistake, was always available to answer questions, and was always a gracious hostess. She is an awesome team player.”
